The methods we use are integrative, blending mind & body-focused healing approaches that help reduce anxiety, lessen sadness and provide clarity and relief. Our “Integrative” approach refers to the fact that we take all parts of who you are; your personal strengths, your limitations, your internal resources and struggles into account when we develop a personalized treatment plan to map out your healing. We assess your thoughts {cognition}, behavior and body based {somatic} symptoms, so we can get to the root of your challenges and help you make long-lasting change.

When needed, we use specialized methods such as EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Parts work to dig a little deeper, to “clear” out the sources of pain, anxiety, fear or sadness, be it due to a trauma, neglect or losses. We see you as an active participant in your healing, and because of that, you will get a lot of psycho-education. You will become an expert in your own mind and body. We help you better understand why you are the way you are, the origins of your emotional struggles and ways to work through your symptoms. When you engage in counseling with us, you will feel more clear about your goals and wrap up each session feeling empowered and somewhat more resolved as you move on with your day-to-day life.

It is proven that the most successful long-term outcomes happen when a therapist has many science-based modalities or “tools in their tool-belt” to draw from, and can find just the right approach to best support each client, sculpted for their unique needs. Since there are so many evidence-based approaches, it’s incredibly important to experiment with what works. At Integrative Psychotherapy we are proud to be trained in a number of modalities that we combine to help you and your particular circumstances.
Some of the Modalities We Use
A note about our fees: our session fee for individual therapy is $250-350, and we provide the paperwork for your insurance company for out of network reimbursement if you have out of network benefits.
